Secure Drop is designed as a temporary file submission service. We believe in complete transparency about what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it.
What Data We Collect
When you use Secure Drop, we collect and temporarily store:
- Your email address - Required to send you the access key and expiry notifications
- Your uploaded files - Stored securely in Google Drive with access-controlled folders
- File metadata - File names, sizes, upload timestamps, and retention preferences
- Access key information - Unique keys, creation dates, and expiry times
- Submission context - For structured submissions: title, purpose, description, and intent
- Usage logs - Basic operational data for service functionality (stored in Google Sheets)
What We Do NOT Collect
Privacy Protection
We explicitly do NOT collect or store:
- IP addresses or location data
- Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
- Behavioral tracking or analytics cookies
- Personal information beyond your email address
- File content analysis or scanning
How Your Files Are Stored
Your files are stored using the following security measures:
- Google Drive storage - Files are stored in access-controlled folders within our Google Drive
- Unique access keys - Each submission gets a cryptographically generated access key
- Folder isolation - Each submission is stored in its own isolated folder
- No public access - Files are never publicly accessible or searchable
- Access key requirement - Files can only be retrieved using the specific access key
Important Security Notice
Secure Drop does not provide end-to-end encryption. Files are stored securely but are not encrypted with your own keys. Do not upload highly sensitive data that requires end-to-end encryption.
Who Can Access Your Files
Access to your files is strictly limited:
- You - Using your unique access key until expiry
- System administrators - Only for technical maintenance and legal compliance
- Legal authorities - Only if legally required and with proper documentation
- No one else - Files are not shared, sold, or accessed for any other purpose
Data Retention and Deletion
We follow a strict retention and deletion policy:
- User-selected retention - Files are kept for your chosen period (1, 3, 5, or 7 days)
- Grace period - Files remain accessible for 2 hours after official expiry
- Automatic deletion - Files and folders are permanently deleted after the grace period
- User deletion - You can delete files and revoke access at any time
- Complete removal - Deletion includes files, metadata, and access keys
- No backups - Deleted files are not retained in backups or archives
Email Usage
Your email address is used exclusively for:
- Sending your access key after successful upload
- Including submission receipts for structured submissions
- Providing expiry and retention information
We do NOT use your email for marketing, newsletters, or any other communication.
Third-Party Services
Secure Drop uses these trusted third-party services:
- Google Drive - For secure file storage
- Google Sheets - For operational logging
- Google Apps Script - For backend processing
- SMTP2GO - For transactional email delivery
These services operate under their own privacy policies and security standards.

Service Description
Secure Drop is a temporary file submission service provided by Sensoreact. It allows users to upload files, receive access keys, and retrieve files within a specified retention period.
Acceptable Use
By using Secure Drop, you agree to:
- Use the service only for legitimate file sharing purposes
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Not upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures
- Not use the service for spam or bulk distribution
Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Illegal materials or content violating applicable laws
- Malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Copyrighted material without proper authorization
- Personal information of others without consent
- Content intended to harm, harass, or threaten others
User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The content and legality of files you upload
- Keeping your access keys secure and confidential
- Downloading your files before expiry
- Understanding the temporary nature of the service
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Service Availability
Secure Drop is provided "as-is" with the following understanding:
- We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
- Maintenance windows may temporarily affect service availability
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice
- File retention periods are enforced automatically and cannot be extended
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Sensoreact is not liable for any data loss or corruption
- Users assume full responsibility for backing up important files
- We are not responsible for consequences of expired or deleted files
- Our liability is limited to the direct cost of the service (which is free)
Enforcement and Compliance
We reserve the right to:
- Remove content that violates these terms
- Suspend or terminate access for policy violations
- Cooperate with legal authorities when required by law
- Modify these terms with reasonable notice
